Hi, I’m Hailey Velarde—a singer-songwriter from Sacramento, California. Music has always been the way I make sense of the world. I write songs that are honest, emotional, and rooted in real experiences—whether it’s about love, heartbreak, growth, or just figuring life out. Currently studying English at Sacramento State University, focusing on creative writing and poetry composition. Developing a diverse portfolio of poems, songs, and short stories. Expected graduation in Spring 2028.

Took singing lessons from 2018 - 2020, focusing on musical theatre and pop vocal skills. Performed both covers and original music multiple times in front of large crowds ranging from 100-1,000 people.
